Welcome to the Website of Woking Lions Club,one of over 44,000 such
clubs which form Lions Clubs International, the largest service
club organisation in the world.There are over 1.4 million members
serving their communities in over 190 countries worldwide.
The prime object of the members of Woking Lions Club is to help
people in the Woking area who are less fortunate than themselves.
Only a very small percentage of our funds is earmarked for international
projects, such as eye camps and water wells in third world countries.

2009 Arts Festival The Winston Church Hill

Organised by the Winston Churchill School and Woking Lions Club celebrating the positive side of youth culture.
Fabulous young musicians and dancers will be performing over 3 evenings, a range of engaging lively entertainment for your pleasure. Pop jazz and classical music with contemporary and traditional dance.
The event is asking for your support to raise funds for Great Ormond Street hospital, Surrey Children's Trust, Lions International Woking Club's charitable causes.

Message in a Bottle

Woking
Lions in conjunction with other clubs in SW Surrey launched in
September 2003 a scheme called Message in a Bottle. This
provides free i ssue of data bottles from local Surgeries and
Pharmacies and is targetted at single people living on their
own, especially the elderly who are incapacitiated, have a poor
medical history or are under medical treatment.

Membership is open to both men and women over eighteen years with with no upper age limit.
